Change or cancel your plan

You change or cancel your plan in Plan and usage: a plan under Plans switches plan or billing period, and Cancel plan cancels. For some older subscriptions these open Stripe, the payment service we use, instead, and there a change applies right away.

Change your plan

  1. Open You, then Plan and usage; on a computer, You is in the left bar.
  2. Under Plans, click the plan you want, marked Upgrade or Downgrade. Yours is marked Current; click it to change only the billing period.
  3. On Change your plan, pick Monthly, 6 months or Yearly, then click Switch to and the plan, for example Switch to Creator, or on your own plan the period, for example Switch to yearly.
  4. The next page shows your card, what is due today and your next payment. Click the button under Due today.

A bigger plan on monthly starts a new month that day at its full price. The lessons and minutes left on your old plan stay until its old date.

A smaller plan or a shorter period starts on your next payment date: nothing to pay today, and your plan stays until then. Keep on your plan card takes the change back.

Any other change pays the difference for the rest of the period. If the card is declined, your plan stays as it was. On Starter, Upgrade on your plan card and in a computer's header opens the same place.

Cancel

  1. In Plan and usage, under Billing, click Cancel plan.
  2. Tell us why under Why are you leaving? (optional).
  3. Click Cancel plan. Keep and your plan's name takes you back without changing anything.

Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for, and your plan card shows Ends with that date instead of Renews. No further charge is made, and a change waiting for your next payment is removed. Before that date, Keep and your plan's name on the card renews it.

After a failed payment, cancelling works the same way, and Keep appears once your card is updated.

When it ends, the app says Your subscription has ended. Your library stays, but you cannot add new lessons until you click Resubscribe.

Card and invoices Payment method under Billing shows the card you pay with, and Replace card saves a new one in the app. Invoices lists your invoices with their date, plan and amount, and each one opens as a PDF. For some older subscriptions both open Stripe, the payment service we use, instead.
