My takeaway
My takeaway is one line in your own words on a lesson, such as what you will do with it. It sits under In the quiz on every lesson, note, quote and photo.
Write one
- Open the lesson and tap Add a line in your own words under My takeaway. On a computer, it is in the panel on the right.
- Write your line. The lesson's Remember this sentence shows under the field as a reminder.
- Tap Save.
A takeaway holds up to 500 characters. Near the end a counter shows how many are left; past it, it says how many are too many and Save waits until you shorten it.
Change or remove it
Tap Edit under your line. To remove it, delete the text and tap Save. If you close the sheet with changes, it asks whether to Discard changes or Keep editing.
Where it shows up
- Search finds lessons by the words of your takeaway.
- Copy and Export add it under its own heading. See Share or copy a lesson.
- The export of your whole library has it too. See Export your library.
