Your knowledge score
Your knowledge score is the share of lessons you remember out of those that have come up in a quiz. Each topic has its own score, and Progress shows one for your whole library.
How it is counted
- A lesson has come up once you grade it in a quiz, or once its quiz day arrives, even if you have not answered it yet.
- It counts as remembered when your last grade was Knew it and its next quiz day has not come yet.
- Lessons waiting for an answer count as not remembered, so skipped quiz days pull the score down.
- Lessons in Unsorted and the Start here examples are not counted.
A topic shows no score until you have answered one of its lessons in a quiz, never a 0% before you have had the chance. It shows 100% only when every lesson that came up is remembered.
Where you see it
- On a phone, the top of Progress shows the percent you remember across your whole library.
- A topic's page shows its percent remembered with a bar, and what waits, such as how many lessons are waiting for a quiz.
- On a computer, the Quiz tab lists Knowledge by topic, with new for a topic without a score, and the Milestones page shows the overall score.
- The end of a quiz shows each topic whose score moved, and the Monday email shows your overall score.
A topic slipping? Run Quiz this topic on it. Every lesson you get right comes back later and counts as remembered until then.
