Save a link

Copy the link of a post and paste it into Add. A link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and 11 more sites becomes a lesson, made on our side while you carry on.

Save it

  1. In the app the post is in, tap Share, then Copy link.
  2. Open scrollandlearn and tap Add (on a computer, the Add card or N).
  3. Paste the link. The label under the field names it, for example TikTok video with 1 credit per 30 min, or X post with becomes a lesson.
  4. Tap Make lesson, or press Enter on a keyboard.

You see Link added. Your lesson will be ready in about 30 seconds. and the post waits under Recently added on Topics while it is read. You can leave the app; the lesson is made on our side. The new lesson stays there, with the topic it went into under its name, until you open it.

What is read

We read what the post itself carries: its captions or transcript, its text, and the printed text on its slides. If a video has no captions, we transcribe its speech when the network gives us the video, and otherwise ask you to upload it. A link that does not become a lesson is not counted against your plan. Why didn't my link become a lesson? explains each case.

You can leave off the https:// for the sites we support. Guides for single networks: TikTok, YouTube and Instagram Reels.

Links from other sites

A link from any other site shows not supported yet and is not saved. An article from the web becomes a lesson only through the browser extension, which reads the page you have open. See which sites work.
