Save from your iPhone

On an iPhone you save from other apps with a Shortcut. You add it once from scrollandlearn, then tap Share on a post and pick Save to scrollandlearn. The app does not need to be open.

Set it up once

  1. On your iPhone, open scrollandlearn.app in Safari and sign in.
  2. Go to You, then Save from other apps.
  3. Tap Add to Shortcuts. It copies your key and opens the Shortcuts app.
  4. Tap Add Shortcut there, then come back to scrollandlearn.
  5. In Instagram, tap Share, then Share to..., then Save to scrollandlearn. The first time, allow what it asks.

A message says Saved. Your lesson will be ready in about 30 seconds. and the lesson shows up under Recently added on Topics. From then on, Save to scrollandlearn is in the Share menu of every app with a Share button.

Keep it at the top

In the Share menu, tap Edit Actions... and add Save to scrollandlearn to Favorites.

Check or turn it off

Once the Shortcut is set up, the Save from other apps row on You says On. Inside, it shows On for this iPhone and when you last saved with Share. Set up again makes a new key if the Shortcut stops working. Turn off stops the Shortcut on every phone that has it; your lessons stay.

A message you did not expect? The Shortcut tells you why a post was not saved. See Shortcut messages. It saves links only, and a link you already have says Already saved with its title.
Saving as a guest? Create an account first; the Shortcut needs one to save into. More on the iPhone page.
