Save from Android

On Android you install scrollandlearn from Chrome once. It then appears in the Share menu, so you tap Share on a post, pick scrollandlearn, and the link is saved.

Set it up once

  1. Open scrollandlearn.app in Chrome on your phone and sign in.
  2. Go to You, then Save from other apps.
  3. Under Install the shortcut, tap Install. If there is no button, open Chrome's menu and install it from there. It puts scrollandlearn on your home screen and in the Share menu.
  4. In Instagram, tap Share, then scrollandlearn.

What happens when you share

scrollandlearn opens, saves the link and says Link added. Your lesson will be ready in about 30 seconds. The post waits under Recently added on Topics while it is read.

  • If the shared text has no link, Add opens with the text, so you can save it as a note or a quote.
  • If the link is from a site we do not read yet, Add opens with the link and says why it cannot be saved.
  • If you saved the post before, the lesson you already have opens. See Already saved.
scrollandlearn is not in the Share menu? It appears only once it is installed. Check that Install the shortcut shows Installed. in Save from other apps. More on the Android page.
