Export your library

You can download all your lessons and cards at any time, on any plan. Open You, then Export your library, pick a format and click Export.

Export everything

  1. Open You, or on a computer click You in the left bar.
  2. Click Export your library. The sheet says how many lessons and cards it will take.
  3. Pick Markdown, CSV or JSON.
  4. Click Export. The file downloads, named scrollandlearn-lessons with today's date.

The formats

  • Markdown: a zip with a folder per topic and a file per lesson. It opens in Obsidian, Notion and Apple Notes.
  • CSV: one row per lesson, for Excel and Google Sheets.
  • JSON: everything in one file, for developers.

Each lesson comes with its title, topic, main idea, key points, Try this, Remember this, your takeaway, its tags, its source link and the day you saved it.

Just one lesson? Open the lesson and choose Export among its actions. It downloads as one Markdown file.

The export holds the text. Photos, voice memos and video files you uploaded are not in it.
