Save with the extension
Click the scrollandlearn button in your browser and the page you are on is saved. An article becomes a lesson, a post from a supported network is saved like a pasted link, and a passage you select can be kept as a quote.
Click the button
- An article: the extension reads the page's text. With 300 characters or more of it, it becomes a lesson filed under a topic.
- A post on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or another supported network: its link is saved, exactly as if you pasted it into Add.
- A page with little to read, such as a front page or a feed, is not saved. You see Nothing to read on this page.
A small label at the top right of the page answers: Saved with Making the lesson, or Already saved with its topic and date. A check also shows on the button for a moment, or ! when something did not work.
Right-click
- Select a passage and pick Save to scrollandlearn. Under 300 characters it is kept as a quote with its page; longer, it becomes a lesson.
- Right-click a link and pick Save link to scrollandlearn to save it without opening it. This works for links from the supported networks; for an article, open it and click the button.
- Right-click the page, a video or an image and pick Save page to scrollandlearn to save the page, as the button does.
What it reads
The extension reads a page only when you click its button or its menu, and sends only that page to your library. It cannot read the browser's own pages, the extension stores or the PDF viewer; there the button shows ! and nothing is saved.
It says Connect this browser? Its key was removed or never set. Click Open scrollandlearn in the label and connect again. See Connect this browser.
