Search operators

Operators narrow a search. Type them into the search field on their own or next to other words, and every one you add applies at once.

Kind, source, tag and topic

  • type: filters by kind: lesson, note, quote, image, video, voice, photo or article. The plural works too, as in type:videos.
  • site: filters by where it came from. Use a network's name, as in site:tiktok or site:youtube, or any web address, as in site:example.com for articles saved with the extension. Separate several with commas: site:tiktok, youtube.
  • tag: and topic: filter by a tag or a topic name. Put a name of more than one word in quotes: topic:"money habits".

Dates

  • The plain words today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month and last month filter by the day you saved it.
  • before: and after: take a month name (before:sep or before:september), a year (after:2025), a month (after:2026-09) or a day (before:2026-09-14).
  • before:sep means saved before September started, and after:sep means saved after September ended. A month name means the latest one that has started.

Phrases and words to leave out

  • Put words in quotes to find them together, in that order: "start on the result".
  • Put a minus before a word to leave it out, or before a network to leave that network out: hooks -youtube.
  • has:try finds lessons that have a Try this.
Not sure of the syntax? The chips under the field write these for you. An operator the search does not know is searched as plain words, so a typo never breaks the search.
