Edit a lesson

You can change every part of a lesson's text, including the question the quiz asks. Your version is the one you see, copy and get quizzed on.

On your phone

  1. Open the lesson and tap the pencil at the top, Edit lesson.
  2. Change any field: Title, Core idea, Key points, Try this, Remember this or Quiz question.
  3. Tap Save at the top of the sheet.

On a computer

  1. Open the lesson and click Edit, the pencil in the row at the bottom of the panel.
  2. Make your changes and click Save.

Good to know

  • In Key points, a line that starts with a dash and a space shows as a point. Other lines show as a paragraph.
  • Leave Try this empty when there is nothing to try. With text in it, the lesson gets Add to Things to try.
  • Save stays grey while Key points is empty.
  • A quote has only two fields, Quote and Author, in a sheet called Edit quote.
Closed it by mistake? If you leave the sheet with changes, it asks first. Keep editing takes you back to your text, Discard changes throws it away.

To change the topic instead, see Move a lesson to another topic. Your own line goes in My takeaway.
